We're seeking an experienced Engineering Planner and Engineering Administrator to join our Engineering Planning team. Engineering Planner The post holder will be responsible for implementing and managing world class planning processes in the Engineering team, aligned to the NPI process. Responsibilities Develop & implement agile planning processes to ensure effective utilisation of Engineering project hours Facilitate project planning sessions Manage multiple project plans, ensuring consistency across multiple sites, with planning methods aligned Create and maintain an engineering projects dashboard to track and report on project performance, providing a real-time, comprehensive, and prioritised view Support project teams with planning methodology, tools and process training Maintain project metrics to track performance in project delivery Assist and advise leaders, managers and teams to the best use of project management disciplines and approaches within a fast-paced environment Engineering Administrator To provide general administration support for the Configuration Management Team within the Design Organisation. Responsibilities Carrying out general administration and reporting duties Working within the CM team to ensure the timely review and release of Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and associated Engineering drawings. Administration of the TAM system Attendance at Technical Review Board (TRB) meeting to assist in the approval of Engineering Changes through the Design Organisation. Maintaining the Configuration tracker and producing reports as required on a daily/weekly basis Taking and distributing minutes for TRB meeting Review and release of Engineering Drawings Enovia (CATIA V6). Uploading Technical Documents to Airbus/Boeing Providing support to the Design NPD Lead for bid submittals when required On occasion applicants may be required to provide support in Thompson Engineering offices across all sites.
