Employer Engagement Consultant
The Growth Company’s (GC) Employment team have an exciting new opportunity for a Employer Engagement Consultant to provide a quality recruitment service to The Growth Company Employment customers and employers. Within the Restart Scheme, you will be part of a government initiative that provides personalised support for up to 12 months to help people find a job in their local area and help overcome any challenges that might be standing in the way of employment.
We help to make a lasting difference to the lives of people throughout the North of England and beyond, by supporting individuals to gain meaningful employment.
Our highly skilled advisers and keyworkers work with a range of individuals; from people who have found themselves recently out of work, to those with complex barriers such as physical disabilities, mental ill-health, and debt.
A driving licence is required with use of your own vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement a range of activity which produces leads and creates the opportunity to sell products and services to employers. Such activity will include but not be limited to:
2. Building and maintaining relationships with The Growth Company colleagues to develop a good understanding of support to business available, enabling you to build the number of referrals received and generate referrals to other Growth Company business units.
3. Build and maintain relationships with both internal and external key stakeholders, for the benefit of the business and contracts worked on.
4. Undertaking a consultative approach with employers to identify their recruitment and workforce development needs aligned to GC Employments business objectives for current and future contracts. In addition, where appropriate upselling cross services from the Growth Company product range, to maximise income through the sale of multiple Group services which will be on benefit to the business worked with.
5. Effectively account manager employers by maintaining and develop relationships, providing excellent levels of service, regular review, ensuring that repeat business is generated, and where appropriate that new services from the Group’s product range are taken up.
6. Advertise all vacancies internally (and externally where appropriate) in a clear and concise manner, providing all the information required enabling operational staff to identify suitable candidates for vacancies.
7. Pre-screen all customers thoroughly prior to submission ensuring they appropriately match the employer’s requirements and are willing to be submitted to the role available,
8. Arrange interviews with employers and clearly communicate the interview details with both the customer and the customers operational advisors.
About you:
9. A warm, approachable style to delivery is required in order to build relationships and rapport.
10. Networking and communication skills, both written and oral.
11. Ability to work to challenging targets and KPIs.
12. Well-developed IT skills, including an understanding of computerised management information systems, spreadsheets, diary management, and e-mail.
Skills Required:
13. Must have previous sales experience.
14. Flexible approach to work including willingness to travel and working occasional unsociable hours.
15. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to negotiate with employers, maximising sales as well as managing expectations and dealing with complaints.
16. Ability to make contact with decision makers, identifying business opportunities and closing contracts.
17. Knowledge of recruitment and training services.
