Overview
We are looking for a self‑motivated Radiographer to manage our team of radiographers. This part‑time post (0.8 WTE) will be based in Cowal Community Hospital, Dunoon, and the successful candidate will provide leadership and management over both Cowal Community Hospital and Victoria Hospital, Rothesay.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the radiography team across Cowal Community Hospital (Dunoon) and Victoria Hospital (Rothesay).
* Provide 24/7 service on‑call responsibilities as part of the post.
* Ensure the plain film service to A&E, in‑patients, out‑patients, GPs and dentists is delivered to high standards.
* Support a small team of radiographers from across Argyll and Bute and liaise with radiologists based in Lorn and Islands hospital.
* Coordinate cross‑site working across Argyll and Bute to maintain service continuity.
* Implement forward‑thinking initiatives and contribute to an excellent service for the population of Cowal and Bute.
Qualifications
* At least 3 years post‑graduate experience.
* At least 2 years senior‑level experience in supervision and team leadership.
* Self‑motivated, forward‑thinking commitment to providing an excellent service.
* Eligibility to work in NHS Scotland.
