We are on the search for dedicated and compassionate Support Workers for an exciting opportunity to work with our female client with an Acquired Brain Injury in the Clayton West area of Huddersfield. The role includes Supporting clients in achieving their rehabilitation and development goals. Whilst there is flexibility needed, the clients current activities mean that support is needed for the weekends and week day mornings/afternoons. The role will include social activities for our client at home and in the community. As our client gets involved in new activities and develops her independence this hours may evolve. Assisting with daily living tasks and meaningful activities. Facilitating community engagement and social participation. Supporting with prompting for personal care and allowing a break for our clients family from caring responsibilities Working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and our clients family to keep our client safe and happy. Hours: (Hours may vary due to client needs and client activities) Thursday - 7am-9am - 15:00- 16:30pm Friday- 7:30am- 9:30am - 14:30- 21:30pm Sat and Sun- 9:00am- 16:00pm Requirements: The role includes taking the client out in the community and so a driver is essential. Mileage whilst with the client is paid at 45p per mile. Business insurance and Full UK drivers license Willing to travel with client and client family, on trips away if booked.
