Responsibilities
* Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical problems and necessary repairs.
* Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections.
* Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment and manual techniques.
* Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems as required.
* Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed on each vehicle.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while working in the workshop.
* Collaborate with team members to improve workflow and efficiency within the workshop environment.
Skills
* Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
* Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
* Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment used in vehicle repair.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
* Good communication skills for interacting with customers and team members effectively.
