We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality childcare and early childhood education within a nurturing environment. The Nursery Practitioner will play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment that promotes learning and well-being for all children in our care.
We are also looking for two Apprentice working towards a Level 2 or 3 in Early years. Hours to be arranged
Nursery Practitioner
Requirements:
* Level 3 in Childcare
* Happy to work 40 hours
* 3 or 4 long days (all year round)
* Full UK Driving License (prefered)
* Previous experience working with children within a nursery or early childhood education setting is essential
* Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education frameworks
* Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education frameworks
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative and independence
Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that support children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development
* Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and organised activities to ensure their safety at all times
* Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork
* Maintain accurate records of children's progress, behaviour, and developmental milestones
* Ensure the nursery complies with all health and safety regulations, including safeguarding policies
* Support the organisation of daily routines and special events within the nursery setting
* Assist in managing nursery resources and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment
* Lead by example in demonstrating excellent childcare practices and professionalism
