Role Overview:
You will deliver specialist supportive therapies and compassionate care to patients and their families. Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team, you will aim for the best patient outcomes, particularly for those undergoing cancer treatment and care.
Responsibilities:
* Administering chemotherapy and blood transfusions
* Monitoring patients and managing side effects
* Educating and supporting patients and families
* Supervising junior staff and mentoring
* Supporting the operation of the Haematology department
Requirements:
* Registered Adult Nurse on the NMC Register
* At least 3 years of post-qualification experience in cancer services
* Passion for Haematology and Oncology nursing, with a relevant qualification in the field
