Trainee Service Engineer / Junior Field Service Technician required to join a world-leading manufacturer.
The successful Trainee Service Engineer / Junior Field Service Technician will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and commissioning filtration systems across multiple industries while managing customer relationships, technical reporting, and job logistics, and supporting business development with regular UK travel and annual training in Germany.
The Trainee Service Engineer / Junior Field Service Technician will ideally be a mechanically minded trainee or graduate engineer with strong technical aptitude, and a willingness to travel extensively across the UK and abroad, ideally with a mechanical engineering qualification and interest in filtration systems.

Trainee Service Engineer / Junior Field Service Technician Role
* Service, maintain, overhaul, and commission filtration systems across various industries.
* Prepare service reports and provide technical recommendations to customers.
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive repeat business and upselling.
* Produce quotations and manage orders, parts, and documentation through the ERP system.
* Support marketing initiatives and identify new business opportunities.
* Collaborate with the wider engineering team to deliver customer-focused solutions.
* Write and maintain risk assessments and method statements for all site work.
* Manage scheduling, travel, and reporting, with regular UK travel and overnight stays.
Trainee Service Engineer / Junior Field Service Technician Requirements
* Experience as a Trainee Service Engineer, Apprentice Engineer, Apprentice Technician, Entry Level Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or similar.
* Qualification in mechanical engineering is highly advantageous.
* Mechanical aptitude and a strong interest in engineering and technical problem-solving.
* Understanding of filtration systems is desirable but not essential.
* Excellent customer service, communication, and organisational skills.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Willingness to travel extensively across the UK, Ireland, with overnight stays and occasional overseas for training.
* A full UK driving license.
