Key responsibilities: Lead all site Health & Safety operations, policies, and procedures in line with legal and regulatory requirementsConduct and review risk assessments and HACCP processes across the production environmentDevelop and implement robust control measures to minimise risk to staff, contractors, and visitorsBe the company's lead Health & Safety representative and primary contact for consultancy supportChair and drive outcomes from regular Health & Safety Committee meetingsOversee and enhance incident reporting, near-miss tracking, and root cause analysisEnsure full compliance in fire safety, first aid, and emergency preparednessCarry out regular safety inspections, audits, and internal checks to maintain complianceReport incidents in accordance with HSE guidance, including RIDDOR where requiredMaintain accurate H&S documentation including risk assessments, audits, and training recordsSupport contractor safety management including assessments and on-site checksPromote a culture of safety and engagement through communication and team involvementReview and maintain the site Health & Safety management system, including business continuity considerations This is what you'll need: Proven experience in a Health & Safety leadership role within a manufacturing, FMCG or industrial setting.Hands-on experience developing and implementing safety systems, policies, and audits.NEBOSH.
