Our client is a successful family ran business offering a diverse range of services including commercial window cleaning and abseil works, drainage services, industrial cleaning, waste management and kitchen deep cleaning contracts amongst other varied activities, all under the banner of Facilities Services.Due to continued growth & expansion an experienced Service Manager / Operations Manager is required to add to the current operational team with responsibility for the following services:·Commercial Window Cleaning services.·Rope Access and other working at height activities.·Industrial and general cleaning operations·Kitchen Fan and Extract Cleaning·Waste Management contracts.The role You will be active in the day-to-day management of a team of Employees that includes operatives, administrative support staff and sub-contractors. You will show excellent commercial awareness in relation to job costing and budgeting, have proven experience of successful man management and be committed to delivering a high standard of service to customers both internal and external. ·Dealing and managing all day-to-day company operational issues·Liaise with management and clients on all aspects of service delivery, responding to requests and complaints in line with company policy.·Performance management of your team including ongoing staff training and development, health and safety and any ad-hoc training requirements.·Managing and implementing work schedules and the organizing of reactive and planned services·To generate and follow up new business opportunities, organising and attending meetings with clients as the company requires.·To ensure job profitability through constant evaluation of procedures and work methodologiesExperience·Proven experience in commercial cleaning management·Strong organizational and leadership skills·Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook for communication and scheduling·Ability to develop and implement cleaning protocols·Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards·Excellent problem-solving and customer service skillsBenefits ·Competitive base salary ·£4k Car allowance ·Pension ·Private health care options Working hours·Mon - Fri 7am - 4:30pm - On call, one week in every 4To apply, please send a copy of your CV and a covering letter to alex. drury @ nmsrecruit. com or, alternatively, submit your application via the link belowImportant Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
