We're currently working with a Local Authority based in the North-West, who are looking for a locum Property Lawyer to join the team on an initial 3-month contract.
The position is due to start immediately and the hourly rate is between £50 - £60 per hour, subject to PQE.
The role can be conducted on a remote working basis, and previous Local Government experience will be essential for the role.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
1. Handling a range of property law matters, including leases, licenses and sales and purchases of land, landlord and tenant matters, and disposals and acquisitions
2. Supporting development projects including drafting and completing conditional agreements for lease
3. Provided detailed advice in all areas of freehold and leasehold property law and to carry out research when necessary
4. Experience of Academisations and CPO's would be helpful
Experience required:
5. Commercial Property Law
6. Relevant Professional Qualification - Solicitor, Barrister, FCILEX
Working hours:
7. Open to full-time and part-time options, minimum of 25 hours per week
8. Monday - Friday
