Specialist 1:1 Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Padgate, Warrington)
Full-Time Position / Start After Easter
A welcoming and supportive primary school in Padgate, Warrington is seeking a Specialist 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join their team after Easter. This is a full-time role supporting a pupil with Special Educational Needs (SEN), making a real difference on a daily basis.
This opportunity would suit someone who is confident working with SEND pupils and who is patient, proactive, and committed to supporting individual learning needs.
The role will involve:
* Providing 1:1 support tailored to the pupil’s individual needs.
* Supporting learning, emotional regulation, and engagement in the classroom.
* Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement support strategies.
* Building a positive and trusting relationship with the pupil.
* Encouraging independence and confidence.
The ideal candidate will:
* Have experience supporting children with SEN (professional or personal).
* Be calm, patient, and resilient.
* Be confident adapting approaches to meet individual needs.
* Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Be passionate about supporting children to achieve their full potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
