Job Title: LCV Technician
Shift: Monday – Friday days (45 hrs)
Location: Barnstaple
Salary: £37,000 - £40,000
Overtime All paid 1.5X
LCV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter opportunity
Due to increased business levels our specialist fleet maintenance company is looking to add an additional LCV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter to the team in Barnstaple.
Duties of the LCV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter
* Perform a variety of routine servicing, inspections and subsequent repairs to a variety of trucks and commercial vehicles
* Perform visual or operational checks to locate worn, dirty or maladjusted parts.
* Carry out technical inspections
* Will be required to undertake thorough inspections of accident damaged machines and produce accurate reports to enable repair.
Experience/skills required for the LCV Technician/ Mechanic / Fitter
* Previous experience working on a range of LCV vehicles
* Any experience working on HGV's would be a bonus
* Hold an HGV Class 1 or 2 licence would be beneficial
* Valid driving licence.
* Based in the Barnstaple area
