Job Title: GCSE+ Tutor – Neurodiverse, SEND & Mental Health Specialist
Location: Bristol and South Gloucestershire
Job Type: Part-time, Self-Employed
Role Overview:
We are seeking experienced tutors to teach academic subjects at GCSE level or above. The ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of neurodiversity, learning differences, and mental health challenges, with the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learners.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and personalised tuition in one or more academic subjects at GCSE level or above.
* Tailor lessons to meet the needs of students with neurodiversity, SEND, and complex needs.
* Support students in developing study skills, confidence, and independent learning strategies.
* Collaborate with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to learning.
Requirements:
* Proven experience teaching GCSE-level (or above) subjects.
* Demonstrable experience supporting neurodiverse students, and those with SEND and mental health challenges.
* Self-employed (or willing to register)
* DBS check, ideally on the update service, and knowledge of safeguarding.
