Join Our Team as a Childcare Support Worker/Practitioner
Locations: East Renfrewshire & Scotstoun
Salary: £12.25 to £12.60 per hour
Hours: Full-time (18 hrs/week) & Part-time options available
Monday to Thursday | Term-time | No weekends
Holiday work available (conditions apply)

Your Key Responsibilities
Safety & Supervision
* Escort children safely and follow all safeguarding procedures
* Create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
Activities & Engagement
* Lead fun, inclusive indoor and outdoor activities
* Support children's learning, independence, and well-being
* Prepare healthy snacks, considering dietary needs
Teamwork & Development
* Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
* Contribute to children's development plans and journals
* Take part in team planning, training, and reflection

A natural rapport with children and a nurturing, empathetic personality
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Commitment to a child-led approach and respecting children's rights
Enthusiastic, reliable, and motivated individuals
Qualifications & Requirements
* Ideally: SVQ Social Services (Children and Young People) Level 6, 7 or equivalent
* Not qualified? No problem You must be willing to work towards a relevant qualification in line with SSSC registration requirements.
