RESPONSIBILITIES
* Assist in managing a varied caseload of residential property transactions, including high-value, complex matters in London and standard sales and purchases in the local area. as well as managing your own smaller caseload depending on prior experience - full supervision provided.
* Draft and review legal documents such as sale and purchase agreements, leases, and title reports.
* Conduct due diligence on real estate matters, including reviewing land registry documents and other property records.
* Coordinate with clients, estate agents, surveyors, and other professionals to ensure smooth progression of cases.
* Maintain accurate and organized case files, both electronic and physical.
* Manage timelines and deadlines to ensure timely completion of transactions.
* Provide support to fee earners and assist with billing processes.
DESIRED/REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
* Must have at least 12 months experience as a paralegal within a residential property team. Ideally you will also have some file handing experience.
* Previous experience supporting residential property transactions, drafting and reviewing legal documents with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong understanding of property transactions, including due diligence and document preparation.
* Proven ability to manage client communications and maintain professional relationships with advisers, surveyors, and other stakeholders.
* Strong IT skills, including proficiency with case management systems
* Ability to work independently, prioritise workload effectively, and maintain confidentiality.
* Highly motivated with a proactive approach to work and a collaborative team player mindset.
