In this role, you will:
This role will support the Head of Operational Resilience and Supplier Owners in managing our suppliers and partner relationships to meet strategic goals and deliver excellent customer service. The role involves coordinating due diligence requests, supporting the selection and contracting of new suppliers, and ensuring existing suppliers are well managed. You will manage regular reports from suppliers and compile management reports for the executive team to summarize performance and compliance across suppliers.
Key areas of responsibility:
* Support compliance with regulatory obligations, including SYSC8 and PRA outsourcing responsibilities.
* Support the end-to-end outsourcing framework: onboarding and ongoing management of suppliers.
* Work with supplier owners to ensure timely supplier reviews and provide guidance on best practices.
* Consider Operational Resilience obligations in supplier interactions, including performance and SLA conformance.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
* Manage the production of MI to demonstrate compliance and performance, and escalate material issues as needed.
* Review contracts and due diligence artifacts thoroughly for new and existing relationships.
* Create and manage reports to track contract renewals.
* Analyze invoices and financial reports to identify trends and opportunities.
A bit about you:
* Strong analytical skills, proficient in Excel, with experience in reporting tools like Power BI or Tableau.
* Experience in conducting due diligence on third parties and managing contracts, with high attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and build strong relationships.
* Knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g., SYSC8, Operational Resilience) is advantageous.
* Experience in supplier management, cost control, or budgeting is a plus but not essential.
* Good organizational and project management skills.
