MBT Study Lead Practitioner (FCAMHS)

Hampshire & IoW Healthcare is taking active part in an exciting and pioneering 2‑year research project. It is a National Multisite Randomised Control Trial (RCT) run by Oxford Health, investigating the effect of Mentalisation Based Treatment (MBT) for children and adolescents referred to Community Forensic CAMHS.
As a Band 8a post, the successful candidate will:
* Provide core clinical consultancy, supervision, formulation, training/education, assessment and intervention for children and young people with forensic needs.
* Support the recruitment of participants for the RCT.
* Deliver and train staff in MBT tailored to children supported by Forensic CAMHS.
* Monitor adherence to the RCT protocol.
* Gather and report RCT data.
* Recruit and supervise the RCT’s Assistant Psychologist.
* Coordinate data collection and submission for the RCT.
Qualifications
* Post‑graduate doctoral level training in Clinical Psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996) accredited by the BPS, including specifically models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics and neuropsychology, two or more distinct psychological therapies and lifespan developmental psychology plus HCPC registration.
* Or Registered Advanced Clinical Practitioner.
* Or RMN, Dip SW, Dip OT or BSc OT plus accreditation with an appropriate psychological therapy organisation (e.g. BABCP, UKCP, ACAT).
* Or Qualification from High Intensity IAPT Course (PG Dip) with additional modality training in an interpersonal approach e.g. CAT, IPT, CCC.

£57,528 to £64,750 a year (pro rata for part‑time hours).
