The post holder will oversee the delivery of the Emergency Medicine training Programme in NHSE England North West, covering the East (NW) part of the Scheme.
The post holder will support the Head of School in the strategic development of the North West School of Emergency Medicine and contribute to supporting the School Operational Programme.
They will be a member of the School Board and Emergency Medicine Speciality Training committee.
The Training Programme Director will focus on improving learner supervision, assessment, and experience, engaging faculty, and ensuring effective educational outcomes. The role also involves whole workforce transformation and developing multi-professional links.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced NHS Consultant with a thorough understanding of Emergency Medicine training across the region, possessing strong leadership and communication skills, and able to work effectively within a multi-professional team.
