A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated and experienced Practice Nurse to join a highly supportive and forward-thinking GP surgery in South London. The practice is expanding due to rising patient demand and is seeking a nurse who can provide excellent clinical care while helping to nurture and support a trainee Practice Nurse.
With flexibility around hours (full-time, part-time, job-share, or compressed hours), a strong focus on staff wellbeing, and leadership training provided, this role is ideal for someone looking to further develop their career while enjoying a balanced workload.
Salary – £23–£28 per hour DOE + NHS pension + 27 days annual leave + Bank Holidays + study leave + funded training & development
Location – Southwest London
The Surgery
* Highly regarded GP surgery with nearly 9,000 patients and growing

* Multidisciplinary team including GPs, Nurses, HCAs, Clinical Pharmacists, Social Prescribers, Mental Health Workers, and Physios

Your Role
* Practice Nurse (full-time, part-time, job-share, or compressed hours available)
* Flexible start/finish times, with some extended weekday sessions (no weekends)
* Opportunity to develop leadership skills through mentoring and supporting a trainee nurse
* Involvement in a mix of duties including:
* Cervical cytology
* Wound care/dressings
* Chronic disease reviews (e.g., diabetes, asthma, COPD)
* Health promotion & lifestyle advice
* Occasionally low-volume home visits
* Supported by a diverse clinical team and strong admin support
* Full induction, CPD funding, and career progression opportunities
