Practice Consultant - Occupational Therapist 8422 | Permanent contract | £42,463 to £46,732 per annum (Scale K) | 37 hours per week | County Hall, Norwich
We offer a £2000 welcome payment for qualified and experienced Social Workers/Occupational Therapists (grade J and above), Practice Consultants and Team Managers new to Norfolk County Council. The amount is to be repaid in full if they leave within two years of employment.

The moving with dignity team is expanding, and we have a permanent Practice Consultant role available. The role will join the existing moving with dignity team, comprising a team manager and two occupational therapists. The team focuses on delivering moving and handling training to Norfolk County Council occupational therapists, with plans to expand training to other providers and support workstreams involving personal assistants and informal carers. The Practice Consultant will hold a clinical caseload, support place teams with complex cases, and assist the Moving and Handling Team Manager with supervision and clinical support. The role will also deputise for the Team Manager during absences.
