Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for implementing the Nursing Process based on established Standards of Practice and ensuring all patient care policies and procedures are adhered to in accordance with Garnet Health Hospital policies, the Nurse Practice Act, and the New York State Licensure requirements. The registered nurse will exhibit critical thinking, effectively organize/prioritize accordingly, and implement evidence-based nursing.

Salary Range: $48.50-$74.60 hourly. This reflects market averages and is not from Garnet Health directly. Salary specifics will be discussed during the application process. The compensation range considers factors like location, experience, education, and internal equity.
Qualifications
* Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred; required certifications must be maintained.
* Medical-Surgical experience preferred.
* Current NY State license as a registered nurse.
* ANCC-Med/Surg certification preferred.
* BLS certification required; ACLS within 6 months.
* Cardiac arrhythmia interpretation course within 3 months of hire.
* Hospital crisis prevention training within 3 months of hire, annually thereafter.
* New Graduates welcomed; training provided.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, perform physical tasks, and work in various conditions. Must have visual, auditory, and manual dexterity.
Working Conditions: Environment includes exposure to hazards like blood and infectious materials. Requires physical stamina and mental agility, with potential irregular hours.
