Job Title: EngineerLocation: Doncaster (Stainforth)Salary: Upto £52,000 (DOE)Industry: Food ManufacturingContract Type: Permanent, Full-TimeShift Pattern: Monday to Friday | Rotating Early & Late ShiftsHours: 45 Hours Per Week (Including 1 Hour Paid Lunch Daily)Benefits: Clear progression route into an Engineering Team Leader positionOngoing training and professional development programmesSupport with further qualifications and career advancementOn-site hot canteen facilitiesMonday to Friday working pattern no weekendsNo night shiftsFree on-site parkingCompany pension schemeKey Engineer Responsibilities: As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring production equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably through a combination of planned and reactive maintenance activities.Key duties include:Diagnosing equipment faults and restoring production machinery efficiently to minimise downtimeCarrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown repairsImplementing engineering improvements identified through audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiativesEnsuring all maintenance activities comply with site health & safety, environmental, and hygiene standardsMaintaining accurate maintenance records, including completed work and spare parts usageSupporting effective spare parts management and stock control processesWorking collaboratively with production and engineering teams to maximise plant performanceProviding clear handovers between shifts to ensure continuity of workSupervising contractors and ensuring compliance with site procedures and safe systems of workMaintaining high standards of housekeeping within engineering work areasEngineer Requirements: We are interested in speaking with Maintenance Engineers from fast-paced manufacturing environments, including:FMCGFood ManufacturingPackagingPlasticsAutomotiveChemicalPharmaceuticalTo be successful, you should have:A recognised engineering apprenticeship or formal engineering qualificationNVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Multi-Skilled EngineeringA minimum of 3 years' maintenance engineering experience within a manufacturing environmentStrong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control systemsExperience working within high-volume, fast-moving production environmentsThe ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environmentA proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvementTPBN1_UKTJ
