Structural Engineer - Derby
Emtech Recruitment is working with a well‑established, award‑winning consulting engineering practice to recruit a Structural Engineer for their office in Derby.

The Role
As a Structural Engineer, you will be involved in a variety of projects and responsibilities, including:
* Undertaking design work, inspections, and providing construction site support on major infrastructure projects
* Carrying out concept and feasibility studies for multidisciplinary design schemes
* Performing analysis and design using software such as Tekla, IDEA StatiCA, and TEDDS, alongside hand calculations
* Preparing design calculations, CDM documentation, Basis of Design reports, and material specifications
* Supporting and collaborating with Senior Structural Engineers
Requirements
* Degree qualified (BEng or MEng) in Structural Engineering or a related discipline
* Strong technical design experience using British Standards and Eurocodes
* Proven ability to produce clear and accurate design and calculation documentation
* Experience designing in reinforced concrete and steel
* Working knowledge of BIM software and processes
