Our HR Generalist team sits at the heart of the business, playing a crucial role in creating a positive, high-performance employee experience across the entire employee lifecycle.
Your Responsibilities
* Employee Lifecycle Management: Providing essential support on generalist HR tasks, including contract changes, onboarding logistics, and offboarding procedures.
* Employee Relations: Supporting HR Business Partners with employee relations cases, ensuring all documentation is accurate and company policies are upheld.
* Project Management: Assisting with the rollout of key HR initiatives, such as annual employee engagement surveys (Pulse) and culture-building workshops.
* Operational Excellence: Maintaining data integrity within HR systems and seeking ways to improve existing processes for better efficiency.
* Community Engagement: Partnering with the "NextGen" community to integrate and support intern and apprentice talent.
* Ad-hoc Advisory: Acting as a first point of contact for employee queries, providing clear guidance on HR policies.
Qualifications & Expectations
* Proactivity & Drive: A self-starter with ownership sense, driven to see projects through to completion.
* Passionate about HR: Genuine interest in a career in Human Resources and foundational understanding of the Generalist model.
* Communication Excellence: Build relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
* Detail-Oriented: Keen eye for accuracy in every task.
* Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and comfortable learning new HR information systems.
* Eligibility: Currently in the second year of university on a course that allows a one-year Industrial Placement.
