Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement category strategies to optimise cost, quality, and supplier performance.
* Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks within the category.
* Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favourable terms and conditions.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align category strategies with business objectives.
* Monitor supplier performance and manage relationships to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
* Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
* Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
