National Contracts Coordinator– SSE Energy Solutions – Smart Buildings
Base Location
Flexible UK – your home location must be one of our SSE offices or depots (London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Gateshead).
Salary
£27,500 – £41,300 plus performance‑related bonus and a range of benefits.

Permanent, Full‑time, Flexible (first options available).
The Role
The National Contracts Coordinator is a key member of the National Contracts business unit within SSE Smart Buildings.
Responsibilities
* Enable SSE to transact nationally with facilities management companies.
* Set up SSE on supplier systems with agreed terms, payment terms and communication channels.
* Identify key stakeholders for demand generation, renegotiation and renewal of agreements.
* Act as the first point of contact for issue escalation and enquiries.
* Enhance relationships to achieve preferred and strategic supplier status by negotiating additional services, day rates and rebates.
Qualifications
* Experience in a customer‑facing role (sales, account management or coordination).
* Strong organisational and admin skills to manage multiple contracts and customers.
* Understanding of basic building energy systems, BMS & controls, construction or mechanical & electrical industry.
* Ability to work closely with internal stakeholders across technical, sales and operational functions.
* Experience dealing with procurement teams within facilities management (beneficial but not essential).
