About ICO Pfizer’s International Commercial Organization (ICO) plays a pivotal role in enabling the International Vision for Growth, with Marketing as a key catalyst. ICO drives the execution of this vision through three core areas: Business performance management, by identifying and accelerating international growth opportunities, Capital allocation, as the go-to team for strategic investment prioritization and resource optimization, and Marketing transformation, by activating best-in-class capabilities and execution engines that turn Pfizer’s marketing vision into reality at scale. Role Purpose The ICO Specialty Care Commercial Vice President is a senior leadership role accountable for delivering category P&L performance across all International markets for Pfizer’s Specialty Care Portfolio. The role ensures execution of the global/regional brand strategy and informs capital allocation decisions. As the strategic leader of the Specialty Care Category, this role drives growth, excellence in execution, and team capability across geographies and therapeutic areas within SC. The role plays a critical part in bringing the ICO Three-Year Plan to life and shaping clear strategic direction for Specialty Care across international markets to contribute to the region’s 2030 vision for growth. This leader works closely with International LT to identify and unlock growth opportunities and address performance. Key Responsibilities Category Performance Leadership: Ensure strong performance of the Specialty Care category across International markets and lead timely interventions to mitigate risks and capture opportunities. Drive forecast accuracy and commercial performance versus targets across priority brands and markets. Reports monthly on performance at the International region Performance meeting/Cockpit. Capital Allocation and Investment Decisions: Inform cross-country and brand-specific capital allocation, leveraging market insights and performance trends. Recommending trade off proposals to drive short/long term goals and P&L value. Strategy Execution: Drive implementation of global and regional strategies in partnership with Commercial Leads, Area Commercial Leads (ACLs), and Country Teams. Ensure strategy translates into impactful local execution. Portfolio and Brand Oversight: Provide leadership across the full Specialty Care portfolio, including Rare Diseases, I&I, and Hospital brands. Guide lifecycle management, launch readiness, and portfolio prioritization. Ensure acceleration of new product launches through early insight integration, launch excellence, and tight cross-functional coordination. Build Business Development opportunities to address growth opportunities and portfolio dynamics. Cross-Functional Leadership: Orchestrate collaboration across Marketing, Medical, Finance, Access, Global, and Country teams to deliver aligned and integrated business plans. Act as a constructive challenger to ensure ambition, focus, and accountability across countries. Thought Partnership and Governance: Serves as a strategic thought partner to Global and Country teams, bringing a Specialty Care lens to cross-portfolio decision making and international wide priorities. Team Leadership and Talent Development: Lead a senior leadership team including Commercial Leads and ACLs. Cultivate a culture of performance, empowerment, and development. Foster Growth Mindset across the ICO Specialty Care organization. Customer and Market Insight: Elevate the customer voice and local market needs to influence brand strategy, content design, and launch execution. Embed measurable engagement and metrics into execution strategies to ensure customer-centered activation and continuous improvement. Digital & AI Leadership: Lead the integration of digital innovation and AI-driven solutions across the Specialty Care Category to enhance commercial impact. Champion modern commercial engagement by leveraging omnichannel campaign execution, asset reuse strategies, and personalization at scale. Capabilities & Behaviors Experience managing diverse geographies with varied levels of market maturity. Strong track record in brand strategy, launch execution, and performance turnaround. Proven capability in leading large, cross-functional, matrixed teams. Strategic and systems thinker with strong business acumen. Enterprise mindset with the ability to lead through complexity and ambiguity. Exceptional influencing, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Role model for Pfizer’s Values and Actionable Attitudes. Organizational Relationships Leads a regional team of Commercial Leads and ACLs. Works closely with Global and Local Category Leads, Brand Teams, and cross-functional stakeholders, as a contributor to the International Growth Plan, directly impacting performance and investment planning.
