Site Engineer – Earthworks (North London)
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major earthworks project based in North London. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic team delivering high-quality civil engineering works.
Key Responsibilities:
* Setting out for earthworks, including cut & fill, grading, and drainage
* Managing and interpreting site drawings and specifications
* Supervising subcontractors and ensuring works are completed to specification
* Conducting site surveys using GPS and total station equipment
* Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained on site
* Liaising with project managers and other stakeholders
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Site Engineer on earthworks or groundworks projects
* Strong knowledge of bulk earthworks, excavation, and site preparation
* Proficiency with surveying equipment (GPS, Total Station)
* Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar software
* CSCS card (essential)
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
