Job Opportunity: Payroll Assistant
We are seeking a motivated individual eager to develop their payroll skills within a friendly, small team. You will work alongside the Payroll Supervisor and a Payroll Officer, managing 3 weekly payrolls and 1 monthly payroll, with potential for progression to Payroll Officer.
Responsibilities include:
* Processing holiday requests
* Managing sickness absence
* Generating monthly reports such as employee movements, starters, and leavers
* Inputting new starters and leavers into the payroll system
* Inputting timesheets for weekly and monthly payrolls
* Reconciliation of payrolls
* Assisting with annual salary reviews
* Processing sickness and statutory payments
* Wage reconciliations for payroll and accounts
* Processing commissions, bonuses, overtime, and expenses
* Maintaining payroll documentation and reports
* Updating Standard Operating Procedures
* Distributing payslips
* Supporting Fleet Manager with administrative tasks
Requirements:
* At least 2 years of payroll experience
* Confidentiality and integrity
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Attention to detail
* Team-oriented mindset
