About The Role Reporting to the CFO, you will lead a global team of accountants with the purpose of ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of the company's financial reporting processes. This position is vital for providing transparent financial information to stakeholders, upholding regulatory standards in North America, Europe and Asia, and supporting strategic decision-making. You will lead, engage, and develop a team of 35, driving process excellence and implementing best practices to enhance the company's financial reporting capabilities. What you will bring to the role: Lead a team of 35 accountants based in North America and Europe, providing clear direction, support, and development opportunities Lead the delivery of the monthly management accounts process, ensuring strong close processes and accurate information. Lead the successful and on-time delivery of quarterly, half-yearly and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and other regulatory requirements Lead the annual audit on behalf of Malvern Panalytical, working with external auditors to deliver a smooth and successful process Implement new accounting standards and regulations Implement best practices to deliver world class financial reporting processes and ensure robust reporting controls About you: A recognised accounting qualification and 10 years of experience in relevant roles Experience of leading large accounting teams to consolidate a significant number of global entities, including a solid understanding of intercompany elimination processes e.g. I/Co profit in inventory. Strong understanding of IFRS accounting standards Experience of delivering external audits in a publicly listed Group Strong influencing skills, across functions, countries, and cultures Experience of leading and delivering finance change projects Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills Experience in a global company and in a manufacturing setting, is a significant advantage Experience with SAP S4 Hana and consolidation software such as Elevate/SAP BPC is beneficial Why you should join us: Be a part of an ambitious, fast-growing, international company with a friendly and inclusive culture.
