3. Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organisational objectives.
4. Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure the best value and quality for goods and services.
5. Negotiate contracts while ensuring compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
6. Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships to ensure service delivery.
7. Prepare and manage tender processes, ensuring transparency and fairness.
8. Analyse procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency.
9. Provide advice and support to internal stakeholders on procurement matters.
10. Ensure adherence to ethical procurement practices and sustainability standards.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Procurement Officer should have:
11. Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management.
12. Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
13. Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices.
14. Experience managing supplier relationships and contracts.
15. A professional qualification in procurement or a related field is desirable.
