An exciting opportunity has arisen within UCLH's Cancer Clinical Trials Unit for a Quality Assurance Assistant. The Cancer Clinical Trials Unit (CCTU) supports the delivery of a large portfolio of academic and commercial studies. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will work closely with the Quality Assurance Manager to:
• Support audits, inspections, and quality management processes within CCTU.
• Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), the UK Policy Framework for Health and Social Care Research, and other regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Provide training and guidance to research staff on quality and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and support systems for risk management, incident reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Contribute to service improvement projects and ensure readiness for sponsor audits and regulatory inspections.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the safe and compliant delivery of cancer clinical trials within a leading research environment. The postholder will contribute directly to maintaining high-quality standards, supporting regulatory compliance, and enabling the CCTU to deliver innovative research that improves outcomes for patients.
