Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of public relations and social media management, as well as the ability to analyse performance metrics to optimise campaigns.
Who Are We
ATG Sports is a football development academy that focuses on private coaching sessions with footballers aged 17+. Our training grounds are currently at Evershed Sports Ground in Ealing which will be our home grounds for our University Football Program next year with Loughborough University being our education providers.
Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across various platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
* Create engaging content that reflects our brand voice and resonates with our target audience.
* Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and engagement opportunities.
* Attend a minimum of 1 training session per week, gather footage that can be used in marketing campaigns.
* Analyse performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of social media campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
* Manage public relations efforts through social media by responding to inquiries and fostering relationships with followers.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure our strategies remain innovative.
Experience
* Proven experience in social media management or a related field is essential.
* Strong understanding of public relations principles and practices.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
* Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms is highly desirable.
