About the team
This FIS Sales Team is focused on bringing valuable Banking & Payments solutions to the market. Focusing on Core Banking, we offer a broad spectrum of front to back solutions to our clients. The team is focused on growth, predominantly new name business but also some organic growth.
What you will be doing
A s part of the Banking Amplify team, and a s an experienced and proven Sales and Subject Mater Expert in the core banking space, you will utilize your professional expertise along with knowledge of FIS company products and services. Help s ell ers through a specific channel, partner on territory management, share your expertise in client, meetings and on panels,, and collaborate with a team that is responsible for selling FIS solutions in the core banking vertical .
As part of the growth team, you will:
* Position and help sell solutions and/or services tailored to specific industries.
* Manage the sales engagement, including attending meetings, qualifying deals, training sellers, and presenting trends to C-suite.
* Develop and maintain relationships with new accounts and key institutions in the industry.
* Solicit and maintain a network of prospects, initiating contact with prospective customers to sell targeted products and/or services.
* Demonstrate knowledge of industry challenges and competitive landscape, presenting the market’s view to the strategy team.
* Build and maintain a new revenue pipeline, demonstrating quarterly growth with meaningful activity: calls, meetings, next steps, and follow-ups.
* Work closely with LoB solutions managers to ensure solutions meet market needs, influence roadmaps, and align on market positioning.
* Prepare and present proposals to clients using company resources and tools.
* Help negotiate, structure, and close deals that meet customer expectations and the company's ability to deliver.
* Collaborate with the Growth Office Transformation and Acceleration team to prioritize and formulate a comprehensive GTM plan.
* Support the development of marketing messaging and positioning, agree on campaign strategy, and review lead generation from campaigns/events.
* Provide a “big picture” solution-based approach and bring in presales after qualifying key opportunities to ensure a seamless client experience.
What you bring:
* 10+ years of industry experience with significant subject matter expertise.
* Strong selling experience with a strong grasp of the competitive landscape.
* Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and disciplined self-motivation.
* Deep relationships within key institutions in the industry.
* Proven experience in C-level engagement and effective relationship building with all management levels.
* Understanding of FIS product and service offerings and competitive products/services.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
* Prior experience using LinkedIn and other professional social media tools for prospecting.
* Solid decision-making, problem-solving, and creativity skills.
* Analytical skills to determine client business needs and requirements.
* Working knowledge of PowerPoint, MS Excel, and or similar CRM.
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
* Willingness to travel as required
