Independent accountancy firm in Coventry seeking to hire into their tax team to support further growth and expansion of their business. This is a well-established progressive firm who work with a wide variety of clients and who place very strong value on developing their employees and offering excellent levels of service to their clientele.
Your new role
The successful candidate will look after predominantly personal tax matters in a client-facing role working with a diverse client base. This will involve thepletion of self-assessment tax returns, capital gains calculations, p11ds and trust tax returns. You will also carry out planning work for clients related to inheritance tax, CGT, succession planning and a wide variety of other matters including corporate tax and VAT matters. Additionally, you will be working with and supporting more junior members of the team.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will be ACCA/CTA/ATT qualified or be studying towards these qualifications with experience dealing with personal tax matters within a practice environment either as part of your current role or as your main focus. The firm are keen to see candidates wanting to develop further, and progress professionally. You will enjoy supporting your clients to achieve the best possible tax objective they can, solving problems and developing long-lasting relationships.
