Paint Prep Team Leader – Wiltech Acoustics
About the Role
Wiltech Acoustics in Loughborough is looking for a skilled and motivated Paint Prep Team Leader to oversee our paint preparation team. In this hands-on leadership role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the team delivers high-quality work on time, while maintaining safety, efficiency, and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, motivate, and manage the Paint Prep team, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality output.
* Set and monitor weekly objectives, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to Wiltech's high standards.
* Oversee and participate in all aspects of paint preparation, including cleaning, sealing, priming, masking, colour matching, and quality inspection.
* Ensure team members adhere to ISO9001 policies and safety standards.
* Provide expert advice on material and tooling requirements, ensuring the team is fully equipped for each task.
* Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback to improve team productivity.
* Maintain accurate records, including timesheets, holiday requests, and attendance tracking.
* Communicate with the Production Team and other Team Leaders to resolve any issues and maintain an efficient production flow.

Experience:
* Industrial painting: 5 years (preferred)
