Project Manager – Birmingham
We are currently working with a leading contractor seeking a Project Manager based in Birmingham to oversee various water projects.
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £70,000 – £80,000 plus additional benefits
Job Responsibilities
1. Ensure health & safety compliance for the team and subcontractors.
2. Complete daily/weekly health & safety and client paperwork.
3. Manage site supervisors and ensure role fulfillment.
4. Coordinate with other project managers to ensure schedule adherence.
5. Maintain relationships with clients and subcontractors.
6. Review progress reports and track task statuses.
7. Prepare and issue progress reports to clients biweekly.
8. Monitor site materials and ensure adequate supply before work begins.
9. Oversee work hours of employees and subcontractors for efficiency.
10. Schedule and conduct meetings with clients and stakeholders.
11. Communicate effectively with team members to meet project requirements.
12. Manage team of supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other parties.
13. Collaborate with the commercial team to monitor project costs and profitability.
14. Work with design teams to ensure compliance with specifications.
15. Implement value engineering to enhance project profitability.
16. Research and apply innovative materials and methods to accelerate installation and reduce labor costs.
