Term Time Only
Mon-Thu 8:30 - 17:00 and Fri 8:30-16:30 with an hour unpaid lunch.
£19,755 - £20,151 actual salary for 37 hours per week - this includes holiday and bank holiday pay
(£23,492 - £23,962 Full Time Equivalent salary)
This role is key in providing support to SEND Learners with EHCPs across the college, primarily on vocational courses. The post holder will work with a caseload of identified Learners with support needs, using tools to promote independence, including assistive technology and strategies for learners on their pathway to adulthood.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with assessments
* Work with Inclusion Staff to support Learners in accessing their learning
* Identify strategies and promote assistive technology for independence
* Provide support including 1:1, classroom, out-of-class, visits, and trips
* Monitor progress and provide feedback for reports
* Adapt teaching and instructions as needed
* Contribute to and monitor Individual Learning Plans and EHCP outcomes
* Provide physical support and personal care as needed
* Maintain weekly timetables and support review processes
