This highly respected firm is seeking an ambitious Senior Corporate Conveyancing Solicitor (2+ PQE) to join their growing Newcastle office.
You'll work with a broad range of corporate and institutional clients on high-volume, complex property transactions in a competitive North East market.
Role
This leading department is looking for an experienced Residential Property Solicitor looking to develop their career in the Corporate Conveyancing sector. You don't need previous experience in corporate transactions for this role, but you will need a strong background in a fast-paced, high-value Residential Property team.

In this role, you'll manage transactions from instruction through to post-completion. Your work will include auction sales, title reviews, surplus funds distribution and corrective conveyancing. You'll often represent lender and asset management clients, frequently dealing with repossessed properties and portfolio transactions.
A solid understanding of client SLAs, regulatory frameworks and compliance procedures will be required, particularly when managing sensitive or escalated matters. A calm, solutions-focused approach is essential.

Your Experience
* An English and Welsh Qualified Solicitor (2+ PQE) with a strong background in Conveyancing
* Autonomy to manage a high-quality caseload of residential transactions that include complex and high-value work.
* Able to manage a conveyancing case from start to completion, including handling the preparation of contracts, TR2s and legal reports.
* Skilled in end-to-end conveyancing, including TR2s, auction packs and legal reports.
* Experienced in title examination and rectification, preparing detailed title reports for clients and resolving complex surplus fund distribution issues.
* Regularly liaises with clients, borrowers, asset managers, third parties and estate agents, providing clear updates and managing expectations across all sides of the transaction.
* Acts as a senior point of contact for escalated matters and client reviews
* Supports training and mentoring of junior colleagues and clients on legal processes.
* Recognised for attention to detail, organisation and delivering a consistently high level of service in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
