The Specialist Academy is seeking to appoint Teaching Assistants as part of our three-year growth plan. The academy supports pupils from primary through to secondary age; therefore, applicants are encouraged to state their preferred age range in their application. Opportunities are available across both phases, and staff flexibility is highly valued, supporting future career progression.
There are also opportunities to work additional hours within the residential care team for those who are interested.
This Specialist Academy is a residential special school for boys aged 7–16 with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. Our pupils often arrive with disrupted educational experiences and complex challenges. The role is 32.5 hours per week, term time only, plus 5 training days. Salary is paid pro rata in 12 equal monthly instalments.

* Comply with the Childcare (Disqualification) Regulations 2009, including completing a declaration form where applicable
