Due to continued expansion, we are seeking a HGV Class 2 Tramper to join our Selby & Throne team.
You will be working across our Selby & Thorne distribution centres
Duties:
* Safely operate a curtain sided truck to transport goods and materials
* Load security using internal and ratchet straps
* Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
* Plan routes and ensure on-time deliveries
* Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
* Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members effectively
Qualifications:
* Valid Cat C Licence, Tachograph card and CPC
* Experience as a HGV driver, preferably with experience with tachograph regulations and efficient driving
* Able work flexible hours
* Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* High level of attention to detail and safety consciousness
