The Role: Linux Administrator
This Linux Administrator role is a great opportunity to be part of innovative projects that make a real difference. Your contributions will be key to ensuring systems run smoothly, securely, and at peak performance, enabling complex computational tasks. Your responsibilities:
Provide specialized support for high-end GPU workstations, ensuring optimal performance for computational tasks.
Diagnosing and resolving technical issues, utilizing advanced troubleshooting skills to minimize downtime.
Install, configure, and manage enterprise software solutions on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) platforms, ensuring system compatibility with organizational standards and maintaining robust security protocols.
Conduct performance testing of the HPC platform using custom scripts, analyzing data to identify trends and offering actionable insights for system improvement.
Prepare and present detailed reports on system performance, resource utilization, and other critical metrics to stakeholders for informed decision-making.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to support large-scale projects, contributing technical expertise and solutions to achieve project goals.
Lead meetings and coordinate efforts when required, ensuring alignment across teams and driving successful project outcomes.
Take a leadership role in coordinating activities, fostering collaboration, and maintaining clear communication among project stakeholders.
Essential skills/knowledge/experience:
Expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9,
Proficiency in shell scripting and automation tools
Supporting high-end GPU workstations.
Enterprise software
Troubleshooting RHEL systems

Additionally, Skill: Performance testing on HPC platform and creating detailed reports.
