PTSD UK Project Manager (Trauma-Informed Workplaces Programme)
Location: Work from home – must be UK based (willingness to travel within the UK for meetings, workshops, or pilot partner visits, with advance notice)
Contract: Initial 18-month contract (March 2026 – August 2027)
Salary: From £38,000 (pro rata)
PTSD UK has been awarded funding to create and deliver our exciting new national training programme: the Trauma-Informed Workplaces Project, which will develop, pilot, and evaluate a self-paced online training programme designed to help organisations create safer, more supportive environments for those affected by trauma.
In this newly created role, you’ll lead the delivery of this project from start to finish – coordinating timelines, collaborating with experts, and ensuring every element runs smoothly. You won’t be responsible for writing or producing the training content yourself – instead, you’ll oversee and coordinate with consultants on research and development, ensuring everything is delivered on time, to brief, and to a high standard. You’ll help shape a pioneering programme that aims to transform workplace culture, raise awareness of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Complex PTSD (C-PTSD), and embed trauma-informed practices into Occupational Safety and Health systems across the UK.
This is a rare opportunity to make a tangible difference in the world of workplace wellbeing and mental health, leading a flagship project that has the potential to change how organisations understand and respond to trauma.
What you’ll be asked to do
You’ll be joining a small, dedicated team where collaboration, compassion, and flexibility are at the heart of how we work. At PTSD UK, we trust our team to work autonomously while providing regular connection, support, and shared purpose. You’ll have space to shape your work, bring new ideas, and feel truly valued as part of a mission-driven charity making a national impact.

Marketing and Rollout Preparation
* Manage communications and marketing for early promotion of the pilot and future rollout.
* Gather testimonials and insights to inform future case studies and marketing materials.
* Contribute to sustainability and scaling strategies for national rollout in 2027.
