HGV Class 2 Driver - Newry Area (Immediate Start)
We are currently recruiting on behalf of an award-winning independent wholesale company for an immediate start in the Newry area. This role is offered on a temporary-to-permanent basis, providing an excellent opportunity for long-term employment.
Working Hours & Remuneration:
* Monday to Friday
* 05:30 start - finish (guaranteed 8-hour day)
* £15.07 per hour
* Overtime available after 45 hours, paid at time and a half
Key Responsibilities:
* Loading and unloading goods efficiently and safely
* Multi-drop deliveries across Northern and Southern Ireland
* Direct customer interaction, ensuring professional service
* Secure transportation of goods using cage and pallet systems
* Daily vehicle checks to maintain roadworthiness
Requirements:
* Valid HGV Class 2 Licence (clean record)
* Up-to-date Digital Tachograph Card & CPC Card
* Experience handling 8-10 deliveries per day
* Strong knowledge of regional road networks
