About the Role
Supply Desk are working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Salisbury who are seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to join their Humanities faculty from November 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for both Early Career Teachers and experienced educators to inspire students and foster a genuine curiosity about the world around them.
The role involves teaching Geography across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with GCSE teaching experience desirable but not essential. You will be part of a highly supportive department consisting of six experienced teachers who work collaboratively to deliver engaging lessons and provide excellent student support.

The school has a strong reputation in the local community and is celebrated for its academic achievements, with 72% of students achieving Grade 4 or above in English in the most recent GCSE results. What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Have a degree in Geography (or a closely related subject)
* Have recent teaching experience within UK secondary schools
* Be confident in teaching Geography at Key Stage 3 and ideally at GCSE level
* Demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills
* Be committed to raising attainment and engaging students through creative and effective teaching methods
* Work well within a team and adapt to different teaching environments

Key Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver and assess Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Create a safe and inclusive classroom that promotes curiosity and independent thinking
* Support and track student progress through effective feedback and differentiation
* Collaborate with colleagues within the Humanities faculty to share best practice and strengthen curriculum planning
* Contribute to enrichment opportunities and the wider school community
