Overview
Head Chef required to run the kitchen at this award Hotel and restaurant located close to Huntingdon.
The owners of the hotel are looking for a Head Chef to run the kitchens and create award winning menus whilst being financially aware of costs ensuring all dishes are correctly costed.
As Sous Chef you will work closely with the Owner and General Manager ensuring the hotel retains its current reputation and be part of the team pushing standards forward.
This would be a perfect role for a current Head Chef but a strong Senior Sous Chef would be considered if they can demonstrate strong leadership skills required for the role.
Applicants will ideally need to live in the Huntingdon, St Ives, St Neots, Thrapston, Peterborough or possibly Cambridge area.
Responsibilities
* Run the kitchens and create award winning menus whilst being financially aware of costs, ensuring all dishes are correctly costed.
* Work closely with the Owner and General Manager to retain the hotel’s reputation and push standards forward.
* Lead and develop the kitchen team; suitable for a current Head Chef or a strong Senior Sous Chef with leadership skills.
Qualifications / Requirements
* Experience as Head Chef or strong Senior Sous Chef with leadership skills.
* Ability to work legally in the UK.
* Ideally lives within Huntingdon, St Ives, St Neots, Thrapston, Peterborough or Cambridge area.
* Excellent cost control and menu costing experience.
