We are looking for an experienced Operational Risk Manager to join a dynamic team, providing oversight, challenge, and advice across operational functions. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to assess and enhance risk management frameworks, operational resilience, and control effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide operational risk oversight across key areas such as claims, customer services, people, and finance.
* Develop and maintain operational risk policies, procedures, and standards in collaboration with stakeholders.
* Identify and assess principal operational risk exposures, providing insight and guidance to senior management.
* Lead operational risk scenario planning and assurance activities to support business decision-making.
* Act as a line manager for a risk professional, supporting development and performance.
* Build and maintain effective relationships across the business and with external stakeholders.
Who We Are Looking For
* Minimum 5 years' experience in operational risk oversight, including reporting to executive or board level.
* Strong analytical skills and experience producing high-quality, data-driven risk management insights.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and report writing skills.
* Strategic and commercial thinker, capable of simplifying complex risk concepts for business understanding.
* Resilient, self-motivated, and innovative.
Desirable
* Experience within financial services or regulated industries.
* Exposure to the building, property, or infrastructure sectors.
* Knowledge of operational risk scenario testing and stress methodologies.
Qualifications
* Operational Risk or wider Risk Management qualification.
* Degree in a relevant discipline preferred.
