Teaching Assistant - SEN Support Location: Nottingham (NG9) Salary: £90 - £100 per day Contract: Long-term with potential to go permanent Start Date: ASAP Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm (Term-time only) About the Role We are looking for a committed Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school in the NG9 area of Nottingham. This Ofsted-rated 'Good' school is well known for its supportive staff team and inclusive ethos, providing the ideal environment for students aged 11-16 to thrive. This is a long-term role starting ASAP, with the chance to move into a permanent position for the right candidate. What You'll Do: Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) Help pupils stay engaged, focused and motivated in lessons Support positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing across the school day Work alongside teachers and SEN staff to deliver personalised learning strategies Contribute to a safe, supportive and inclusive classroom environment What We're Looking For: Previous experience working with young people (ideally in a school, SEN or support role) A calm, patient, and flexible approach to behaviour management Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff A genuine passion for supporting young people in education Why Join Us?
