Role Overview:
The primary responsibility of the Heating Engineer is to maintain and repair heating systems in clients' properties, ensuring efficiency and safety, and completing repairs promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Carry out service and maintenance works on domestic properties across the region.
2. Provide high levels of customer care to meet quality standards.
3. Communicate work updates and complete paperwork electronically and manually.
4. Adhere to all Health and Safety requirements, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH Records.
5. Manage stock ordering and auditing to ensure parts availability.
Requirements:
1. Gas qualifications are essential, including CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1.
2. Availability for out-of-hours evening and weekend work on a rota basis.
3. Friendly and professional attitude to build strong client and tenant relationships.
4. Completion of criminal and reference checks before employment.
